What is Connectors?
In short
A connector is the plug a security key needs to slot into, so check the shape matches the ports on your computer or phone.
A connector is the physical plug at the end of a security key. It has to match a port on the device you use, or the key just sits there. Most laptops take the small symmetrical USB-C shape, older machines use the wider USB-A, and phones rely on the contactless NFC standard.
The keys here share the same full set, so none of them locks you out of a port you already own: Google, Google Cloud, the Google Titan Security Key and Nitrokey all list usb a, usb c and nfc. If you work across a desktop, a phone and a colleague's spare machine, any of them covers the ports you are likely to meet.
