ShieldCue puts privacy and security tools next to each other so differences show up before you pay. Every figure here comes from published terms, regulator filings and pricing pages, and each one links back to its source for you to check. The comparison stays independent of the companies it covers. No provider pays for a change to a line, and no partner sits between us and the products we list. We earn a commission when you sign up through links on this site, and partners are listed first in every ranking, then by score.
That independence matters because pricing and limits shift. A discount that lasts a month is not the same as a rate you keep, and a generous allowance for one group can be tight for another. The figures make those distinctions visible, letting you weigh a headline number against the plan terms behind it and against the legal structure of whoever stands behind the product.
Jurisdiction is part of that picture. Where a company is registered, which regulator watches it and what a user can ask for all shape what a tool can promise you.
