What is Platforms?

In short

Platforms are the devices and browsers a product runs on, and coverage decides whether your own setup is supported.

Platforms are the operating systems, devices and browsers a product can be installed or used on, and coverage tells you whether your own setup is supported. 1Password has the broadest spread here, listing macOS, iOS, watchOS, Windows, Android, Linux, the major browsers and a CLI. 12VPN covers Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, OpenWRT and Apple TV. 2FAS is mobile and browser based, spanning iOS, Android, Chrome, Brave, Firefox, Opera, Edge and Safari. 360 Total Security (Qihoo 360) lists Windows alone, and Abine, Inc. runs in the web browser. A narrow list is fine if it matches your devices, but a gap means no native protection there.
