What is Passkeys?

In short

Passkeys are a passwordless sign-in method that relies on a key stored on your device instead of a typed secret.

A passkey replaces the usual typed password with a cryptographic key pair held by your device or synced through your account. There is nothing phishable to hand over, and no long string to reuse. Every service in this group supports them, so passkey support no longer separates one from another. 1Password, Apple Inc., Bitwarden and Dashlane all offer the feature, and Delinea Secret Server supports it as well. When you compare, treat passkeys as a baseline requirement rather than a differentiator, and weigh the password manager's free tier and family pricing instead.
