What is Server countries?

Server countries is the count of separate countries where a provider keeps servers, rather than the total number of servers. A wider spread usually means shorter routes between you and a nearby server, more choice when a single country is busy, and a lower chance that every connection traces back to a single jurisdiction. The spread among the brands here is wide: Aura lists 100 server countries, Avast lists 74, Astrill VPN lists 56, AirVPN lists 23 and Amnezia VPN lists 20. Country count is a reach measure, not a quality measure.
