What is Logging policy?

In short

A logging policy sets out what data a provider records about you, and the approaches here range from none to a narrow set.

A logging policy is the written rule on what a provider records about your use of a service and for how long. The approaches differ sharply. 12VPN runs no user data logs, though optional app log sharing on Windows and macOS is kept for a limited period. 1Password builds on a private design, so it cannot view saved vault item data. AdGuard filters traffic locally, so it does not know which sites you visit, and AdGuard DNS leaves its query log off unless you turn it on. addy.io keeps self-hosted analytics with no cookies, while its web server logs IP addresses and holds them for a brief period to improve the service and prevent abuse.
